28 Below Foundation's mission is to disseminate useful information, to perform charitable services and to raise awareness enhancing the productivity and quality of life for teenagers and young adults with lupus and related diseases.
To assist teenagers and young adults with lupus and related diseases in being self-sufficient, prosperous and have a great quality of life.
Leadership: Become the leader for providing awareness of lupus and support of people who are affected by this chronic disease.
To inspire, empower and improve the quality of life of adolescents and young adults diagnosed with lupus through funding, support groups and education while showing compassion and respect.
Be committed & persistent: The foundation is committed always raising awareness and knowledge of lupus and the affects it has on the youth and adults who have this chronic disease through utilizing funding in the most efficient means.
Stewardship: The foundation's funds belong to the lupus patients at large. Members, directors, and staff act as trustworthy and responsible stewards of these funds, seeking to direct resources with wisdom and compassion. They strive to ensure that our efforts and spending is relevant, effective and efficient.
